These apartments are cheap but you get what you pay for. The management is trying to "fix up" the property but it is only surface stuff. (new paint, carpet, tile floors, new front doors ) The ---- roaches are horrible because the pest control guy only comes every few months and if you're lucky he may decide NOT to skip your building. The bathroom heaters have been removed because they were deemed fire hazzards. I now have a big unpainted patch of drywall in my bathroom for 6 months. The manager sais it would be painted with-in a week of removal (she lied). My garbage disposal has been broken for 3 months,the ceiling is sagging in some places because it leaks when it rains, I can't use my washing machine half the time because the pipes back up and my apartment has flooded six times in 4 months. The manager knows about these problems (she has seen all of them personally but still none of them have been repaired. When I asked what I should do about my washing machine issue,the manager told me to use the laundrymat. (to hell with my brand new appliances )
All the kitchen appliances are very old and need to be replaced. The noise level is outrageous. Loud music,barking dogs, and screaming kids is a huge problem. The management doesn't care and does nothing about it. I have lived here for three years because the rent was cheap and I could deal with many of the problems because the previous manager was nice and tried to fix problems ASAP and the maintainence guy and grounds keeper are extermely hard working,very qualified to thier jobs, and very friendly. When the new manager came 9 months ago everything changed.My lease is up soon and I am moving somewhere the tennents are appreciated,respected, and listened to.
