I am a new resident to St. Jean apartments, having moved in a week or two ago.

These apartments are great. Very affordable, quiet, and in a great location.
They reside in their own 170 acre gated well-lit community.

I am located about 5 minutes from I-10, 7minutes from I-12, 5-10 minutes from both malls, and a couple of minutes from everything else you could need.

I currently pay $450 a month for the term of my lease (mine was 6mo, you can go longer) for a 1100sq ft 2br/2ba. The master bedroom is I believe 18 x 13ft. After your lease term is up, I believe the rent price increases by $100/mo.

This complex has 3 pools, multiple playgrounds, it's own school, a tennis court, a basketball court, and a volleyball court.


The appearance of these apartments is average on the outside and very nice on the inside.


The population of this complex is predominately young people. I'd say that 95% of the people here are between 18 and 30.



Also, these apartments may not look 100% safe... but let me assure you, they are.
Every resident must pass a background check and you can not even live here if you have a misdemeanor to my knowledge.

The residents here are very quiet, and not once have I been awaken or disturbed by loud music, loud neighbors, whatever.


St. Jean pays your gas, water, and trash disposal.Your electric bill will only run $30-50 a month!!!


In summary, these are the best apartments you will find for this price in baton rouge. Maybe in all of Louisiana.
