I've been living here for almost 4 years and from what I see that happens back here is parents need to control their kids first of all. There are too many underage children roaming the apartment complex all times of the night, where are their parents' I cant say what all goes on around here because I work and I mind my own business. As far as the service it all depends your attitude, and trying to make the best out of the problem. Just like it happens here it can happen elsewhere. I feel like if all these other people are saying this and that, don't stay here and ect. then why the hell were yall here for years and years. I'm not saying that everything back here is A 1 but at the sametime if its so ghetto and trashy then yall should have left after your lease was up if not before. Last but not least if you have so many problems living back here than I guess you need keep moving.

Sometimes people don't have the means to afford the housing for their families they would like to have. But families should be proud of wherever they lay their heads at night. No, I would never move back to St.Jean Apts. The complex is way too big, with way too many people.
Maintenance is slow as hell. My A?C was out 5 days. Good thing I knew someone in the A/C business. They came and fixed it before maintenance showed up. And was the heat of summer!
All the people that reside there are not on a lease or paying rent. Yes, I am talking about Section 8. Section 8 is great!! I wish I could get it. But there are some people who abuse the system. When you aren't working and paying for something, some people could care less. You always show more apprieciation for things when you work hard for what you have.
A lot of young ladies there have men living with them, paying no rent, causing all kinds of hell (sitting out drinking and smoking blunts in plain view of our children and everyone else, break-ins, sexual assault, littering, domestic violence, etc... And trust me IT CAN HAPPEN EVERYWHERE AND ANYWHERE!! And it is happening at St.Jean's whether you want to believe it or not.
But some people like drama! They love it! They think it's BORING if there is no commotion going on. It's BORING if the "so-called ballers" ain't driving through the complex with the radios blaring bass and vulgar language (for our kids and elderly) to be forced to hear! It's BORING if no one is sitting outside or groups of kids walking around like damn gangs.
When I come home from work I don't want to see that ----!! And I don't want to hear it either!

When St Jean Apts first opened for business in 1996/1997 there was never a problem with CHILDREN, maintenance issues, theft and drugs to name a few. People have a choice to live where they would like to live and if they have opinions on current situations that they are experiencing they can/should express them. No matter what the situation is St. Jean is not the same and will never be the same pleasant, clean and family orientated place (that is to raise a family) without the influences of drugs and irrational behaviors that can not be compromised due to lack of security and support from the front office.
