I have lived at University Crescent for 2 years. The 1st year I lived here wasn't so bad so I resigned my lease. That was the WORST MISTAKE I could have made! Last summer the POOL was CLOSED for TWO MONTHS out of the summer. They finally fixed the pool when school was about to start. In October 2006 the hot tub broke; it is May 2007 and the HOT TUB is STILL BROKE... thats ALL OF WINTER and a total of 7 MONTHS... and no telling when they are planning to fix it. It's not only broken, but they have not drained it and there is still GREEN NASTY SLIMY DISEASE CARRYING liquid all in there! The LAGOON, I mean POOL, is once again not up and running and has been broken for several months and no telling when it is going to be fixed either. Also, while living at University Crescent, I have had MY OWN CAR (WITH THE APT PARKING PERMIT IN MY WINDOW) TOWED b/c one of the UNPROFESSIONAL young girls working in the front office called my car in. The way University Crescent lets their staff dress is unheard off. I have even seen some of their girls wearing SHORT SHORT SKIRTS and FISH NET STOCKINGS. It's not professional in the least. They are very unprofessional not only because they called to get my car ILLEGALLY towed, but also because they have tried charging me a LATE FEE twice, the ONLY two times I did not get a receipt from them when I paid my rent (I pay on the first of the month or the day before every single month.) Also, while here my WASHER/DRYER unit went OUT and it took them OVER A MONTH to come in and fix it. The INTERNET in the computer lab is ALWAYS NOT WORKING (including right now and all of finals week and most of the semester). Besides the internet in the computer lab, the PRINTER IS ALWAYS OUT OF INK. I would say about once every other month the printer is actually useable. It is SO NOISY at University Crescent. People are CONSTANTLY PULLING THE FIRE ALARM at RIDICULOUS HOURS IN THE MIDDLE OF THE WEEK! There are always DRUNK PEOPLE SCREAMING OUTSIDE MY WINDOW. I have had to CALL THE COPS NUMEROUS TIMES. It is VERY SCARY! Someone even CUT THE CHAIN that my BIKE was tied up with and STOLE my bike RIGHT OUTSIDE OF MY APT. Also, if you don't have a 7:30 am class on Wednesday, DON'T PLAN ON SLEEPING IN! The lawn cutters cut the lawn right outside my window starting at about 7:30 am and don't finish till about 9 am. I know that University Crescent says that is was just their old management that sucked and that it will be a better place to live in the future, but DON'T BELIEVE THEM! NOTHING HAS CHANGED AND NOTHING WILL! Sure they will have things looking nice for the new people who move in in August, but be sure that in a month or so things will just go back to the SLUM this place really is. I am not one to complain about anything. In fact this is the first negative report I have ever sent out about anything. I just hope by writing this either University Crescent will get their act together or people won't get SUCKERED into living here like I have!

Since when did fishnet stockings make someone unprofessional? I've seen top buisinesswomen wearing them dressed with a suit. And I'm pretty sure that the girl in the front office that was wearing them, wore them with a knee legnth skirt or longer (considering thats all I, I mean "she" owns). And the reason your car probably got towed is due to the fact the Community Assistants put flyers on your car for 5 days when you were too lazy to walk from your apartment to the bus stop and you parked in the VISITOR parking spaces during LEASING SEASON!!! Being that I am the Community Assistant that was wearing the FISHNET STOCKINGS (oohhhh deeeeaarrrrr), I agree with most of your complaints. I no longer work there due to the way things were handled, and honestly none of that was in my control. That was the fault of the property manager and the corporate office, so please do not belittle me, or the other girls who busted their asses to put a smile on our faces and try to please every resident and parent when nothing was in our control.

Wearing fish net stockings with a short skirt way above the knee to work is definitely slutty and unprofessional.. and no there was no flier on my car.. I parked on a thursday after 6pm and my car was towed on a friday before noon.. when i didnt even have a class till after that.. so if there were a flier.. which there wasnt when i got my car from the inpound, i wouldnt have even known b/c before i could get to my car again it was already illegaly towed.. but its okay as soon as i brought up the legalities with the staff they realized what they had done and were no longer pressuring me to pay the $180 to get my car back as they were just before i brought up legal matters!
