Management will show you an apartment that is nice an clean when you go on your tour. It is a completely different story when you actually move in.

First off, for August you have to pay for a whole month's rent to be in the apartment only one week. The day we were supposed to move in the line was hours long because they force everyone to move in the SAME DAY!! Talk about a mess!! There are Uhauls and freshman parent's cars everywhere. We waited until the next day to attempt to move in, the parking lot was still a horrific. What was an even worse sight was our apartment. It was FILTHY, mold, dirt, old food, bars of soap in the drains, etc... We called and called management with no response. We sat in the apartment for 2 hours because they told us a manager would be right there to look at it. They NEVER came! We had to walk to the office, wait another 20 minutes and drag a manager with us. She tried to pretend like everything was ok. Wanted us to move in on dirty carpet and they would clean around it. We did not sign a lease for $585/ month each to live in a nasty place. We refused to move in and did not actually get to move in until Septmeber. 3 months later and we are still fighting to get a reimbursement. THIS IS THE MOST UNPROFESSIONAL MANAGEMENT STAFF I HAVE EVER ENCOUNTERED!!! SAVE YOUR MONEY AND MOVE SOMEWHERE ELSE! THERE ARE MUCH BETTER OPTIONS AROUND LSU FOR THIS KIND OF MONEY.

On top of crappy management:
-there is dog poo everywhere
-tanning bed it always breaking
-gym equipment is awful, only one treadmill works
-people pull fire alarms in the middle of the night and management take over an hour to get there to shut it off (it is horrible at 4am in 50degree weather when you have a 9:00 class!!)
-maintenance guys are nice but can take forever to do things
-there is almost no lighting in the parking lot by the back apartments, this is very dangerous especially considering the increase in crime in the area


OVERALL A TERRIBLE APARTMENT. I WISH I COULD MOVE OUT NOW.

IF I COULD GIVE IT A 0 NOT A 1 I WOULD.

I agree, I wish there was somhting we cuold do about this place to lt anyone considering it know, I think I'm giong to flyer the hell out of it wen it's time for the freshman to sign up
