Great Experience overall, but a few minor issues

Years at this apartment: 2006 - 2007
I have read the other reviews, and overall think I must have been living in another world. I rarely had to deal with the front office, so I'd have to say that's a good thing. The only time I dealt with them is to pay rent, and have maintenance issues resolved. In the year I lived there, I had 3 maintenance issues. 2 were for the A/C, and 1 for the refrigerator. Both A/C issues were fixed the same day-some parts replaced. The refrigerator issue was fixed the next day(I didn't know about it 'til after work. The maintenance guy came by the same day, but said he couldn't get it fixed until the next, which he did). I have to admit my neighbors were a bit loud, but never past 10PM(which is funny, because that's the stated noise curfew). I think there's nothing you can do about a little(I stress little) noise from neighbors when you live in an apartment, but that's just me. I agree there is an issue with high water on the grounds when it rains. I lived on the second floor, so I didn't care. I guess I'm too laid back, because I never expect to get my deposit back at any apartment complex. It's too early to say since I just moved out 3 weeks ago, but I'd obviously be happy if I did get it back, but I'm not gonna lose any sleep over it. Considering the rent included electricity, water, sewage, trash removal, and high-speed internet, it was well worth paying $830 a month for 2BR 1.5BA Townhome Style Apt. Parking lot is nearly full at night, but I was always able to get a spot within 100 feet of my door. I guess other buildings may have indadequate parking as stated by an earlier review. There is one drawback I must mention: many apartments here have the W/D connections in the bedroom closet. I was lucky mine did not. Make sure you ask about that if you consider Warwick. I also must mention an incident that happened right after I moved in. The first time I used my washer(it was bought used), it overflowed, flooding my downstairs neighbors' apartment(the place I bought it from repaired the problem, at no charge thank you). Even though the lease stated the cost of damages would be my responsibility, I was never charged. There's no way I could give these guys a bad review for that alone! The location is awesome. You are minutes from Corporate Blvd, I-10, I-12, LSU might be 15 min away(except game day of course). Yes the rent is a bit high, but between Katrina knocking up the cost of everything, and the fact you are paying for location, I have to say it was a great place for me. I'm sorry the others who placed negative reviews had a bad experience, but I didn't.
