This place was an absolute nightmare!! My friends and I got a 3/3 apartment for $1100 a month and they hustled us from the get go. First off they gave us the apartmnet RIGHT BEHIND all the bars, without telling us anything, so needless to say I heard Lil' John every god damn night until 2a.m. Secondly, everything kept on freaking breaking in the apartment, they had to replace their "ac unit" which was basically a box wrapped in duct tape, after we spent a month complaining about it. The first month our electric bill was $211!!! From what'!'!' It's from that cheap ass AC unit that never worked so it never turned off, because it worked non-stop to keep the apartment at 80 degrees. The staff are completely ignorant and stupid and are never willing to go out their way and make you feel comfortable. I've probably walked to their front office 3 times a week complaining about something that they were doing nothing about.
Oh and let me tell you, they tried to charge everyone in my building $50 because they was trash everywhere in the building. Well freaking DUH we're right next too 4 clubs/bars in Tigerland, what do you expect it to be''' I'm not cleaning up after anyone. And I refused to pay it so I went to the office and complained my ass off and didn't take no for answer.
And for those of yall who are reading this and saying well "some people seemed to enjoy the apartment complex" well yeah SOME do but MOST do not. Like I said earlier I was in building 1, apartment 7 and it is complete and utter hell in the front of the complex, the 2 person apartments at the back are probably quieter, but they try to scam you no matter what. Parking problems, trash, Safety, the list goes on and on. And I have yet to recieve my deposit back.
PLEASE PLEASE take my words of advice!
I mean if Osame came to Baton Rouge and stopped at Tiger Plaze he would stop bombing us because he would feel sorry for the people living here.
