My family just moved here from the midwest and were not prepared for the heat and absence of air movement. It is impossible to walk outside without breaking into a sweat. Thanks to Turnberry for having our new apartment ready and so clean. I was worried because my husband had to lease it without seeing it (model home leased because they are so full). It was a pleasant surprise after a long trip full of problems. According to my neighbor I now have to get ready for hurricane season, which is predicted to be very active due to the hot tempuratures. We just left tornadoes behind to get used to hurricanes!

Just be ready. Last year the complex was without power for three weeks and the first week was HOT!! No telling how bad is was for those elsewhere that were without power for at least a month. Generators are allowed at Turnberry and I only know this because I could hear them every night. Be prepared that if you evacuate for the Hurricane, you may come back to an apartment reeking of rotting food in the refrigerator. That's always a fun cleanup!
