B-52s constantly flying over. VERY LOUD. Even at night.
Snobby management staff. Asst Mgr acts as if she is better than you are. If you are a woman she will not treat you with respect once you get in the apartment. If you are a man, she will be more professional though. Manager is constantly out of the office and hard to get ahold of. Mgr will tend to put you off at the bottom of the list if you are having problems that need addressing concerning apt. policies (see towing situation below).
High price for the service and space you get. Water is shut off with no warning about once every month for a water leak "somewhere". Water bill went from $36 a month avg for 3 bdrm apt, to $45, then $65, then (billing error) $95 (corrected to $63). Trash bin is always too full to put trash into it and trash starts building up around the bin for at least a week before they empty the trash bin. Parking lot fills with water about 3-4 inches deep when it rains medium to heavy shower.
Was out of work for 2-3 weeks sick and the mgmt staff would make no arrangement to allow for a payback even with a fee. They said pay the full amount now or move out in 5 days. This was when I was 5 days past the due date. I paid with a credit card, so I didn't get kicked out, but now have that interest rate to deal with on that amount on the card as well as having to pay the late charge. :/
They towed my vehicle with no warning (no license plate) (cost me $250 to get it back). Mgr said that she placed a written personal note on my truck by the license plate. Then changed it to under the windshield wiper. Then the security officer was said to have placed a notice on the vehicle as well. No notice was ever found on the vehicle according to myself and other residences living in the same building including a shreveport police officer. In the end the truck was towed at my expense.

I agree. They recently came into new management, but their maintenance remains sluggish at best. Their prices are still high, though they don't seem to be increasing the prices, mainly due to the unusually high vacancy rate. The reserve is a perfect example of a DECENT (not great) apartment community being driven into the ground. I've noticed in the last year or so, the quality of the residents have gone down, too, leading me to think that between the management and the residents, the reserve will end up being the highest-priced ghetto in the Shrevport-Bossier area.

You would think, in a recession, businesses would go a little further to keep customers happy and go for a "long term" relationship. NOT THE RESERVE!!!!
If you rent here after seeing that only 2 out of 18 reviews are possitive, Im guessing the two are management trolls anyways, you deserve the as rape you get.
