This apartment complex is starting to look like the "projects" in New Orleans. Same noise, same crime, same torn up streets. The biggest difference is the rent here is much higher.

Think long and hard before signing that lease! Look around, better places are available.

I'm someone who learned the hard way. I think it's a terrible place to live.

I am also a resident at Live Oak Trace and have been there for 2 years. First off I just wanted to let you know that the cable is from Cox and if you decide to get movie channels or digital you only have to pay the difference. I get all of the HBO channels and the DVR recorder with digital cables for only $40.00 a month. We do not buy the cable it is included in the rent. All you have to do is call cox and tell them that you live in a Cox community and they will give you specials and prices. I agree with you about the children, this is the parents fault. I don't know which staff told you that you could not get an alarm because I have one. I only had to call the company and they came out and installed the panel and I only pay around $20 a month. It is a pretty good deal. I know that the staff has changed in the past year and a half with the new management and I have found that the new staff is very friendly and helpful. Maybe if you contact them they can help you out with some of these issues. I just wanted to give you these tips. Good luck, I hope things improve for you, as I love living here.
