I am not sure if the people who dislike Lakeside Oaks have ever lived in other complexes! I sure have and this is the nicest one, hands down. It does not matter where you live, if there are 2 stories, you will hear people walking around. That goes for houses, too! Other than footsteps or the occasional person dropping a heavy object, I never hear my neighbors. The walls are thick and you cannot hear the interstate from INSIDE. Staff has always been friendly to us. The pool and workout rooms are always very clean. Kids have safe playgrounds to play in. Maintenance is awesome and they come very quickly if you have an urgent issue. There are no insect problems here and that is a welcome change from the roach infested apartments in New Orleans! the area is safe and there are new stores being built everywhere! Closets are huge, bathrooms are a good size, and Eatel cable and internet services are STELLAR. Each unit has a washer and dryer in a separate little room off the kitchen. We love it so much here that we are moving into a bigger apartment in the complex for another couple of years. ALL complexes raise rent after a year. Word to the wise: SIGN A YEAR LEASE because they can't raise every six months that way. The deposit was NOT high compared to many other places. We love living here! Nicest apartments I have ever lived in!

Very good review by the management!!!! There is no possible way a tenant wrote this review...not one person who has lived in these apartments would have said one single thing in this review!!!
