If you enjoy no parking, nonstop construction, mexican workers staring and whistling at you, nothing getting repaired, sucky management, rent constantly going up etc., then this is the apartment complex for you. I have been staying in apartments for over ten years now all over Louisiana. This is by far the worst. I guess you have to pay close to $1000.00 a month for the management to care about you or the building you live in. You see, their other complex is across the street, and that's the one they care about. I complained for almost a year before I was given a dryer that worked! There are things that I told them about before I even moved that still have not been taken care of! I have given up. Please, do not rent from this place. You are setting yourself up for a nightmare!!

well, in response, i live in calypso bay apartments across the street and they don't care about us either!!! i pay 1200.00 a month and had to go without an A/C for a whole month. my moms car was towed and when she inquired about its whereabouts the district manager screamed in her face!!! shadowlake management has an all around problem which needs to be addressed!

i agree i lived in shadow lake and i had to live with an broken washer and dryer for about 4 months then the washer started leaking and caused mold to grow in my apartment and was told they were to busy to help me also there were things broke when i moved in as well and they were never repaired. they shut off my electricity without even a notice for a whole day for nothing. they tore up my porch and again no notice i woke up every mornig to -------- playing music ouside my bedroom window. parking is horrible the staff is rude and lazy. they would come in my apartment without knocking and walked in on me once in nothing but a bath towel i was so embarrased. this was the worst place i have ever lived and to top it all off i had a year lease and when i decided to move after living there for 11 months with all the aggervation they put me through they charged me for two more months. when did a year have 13 months? i would never suggest this place to anyone and i think they should be shut down.

I LIVED IN SHADOWLAKE VILLAS, I HAVE 2 CARS 1 THE TIRE WAS CUT,A CURSED WORD CRATCHED ON IT AND GREASE IN IT, THE OFFICE SAID THERE'S NOTHING THEY COULD DO ABOUT IT,THEN MY SECOND CAR SOMEONE THROUGH MOTOR OIL ON IT,I AGAIN CALLED THE OFFICE AND GOT THE SAME RESPONSE SO I INQUIRED ABOUT THE SECURITY CAMERAS GUESS WHAT? DON'T WORK, A GUY HAD IS MOTORCYCLE STOLEN,THE KIDS THAT LIVED THERE WAS OUT OF CONTROL AND EVERYNIGHT POLICE WAS ON THE PREMISES FOR WHATEVER REASONS
