lions way is okay i guess, i have really loud neighbors that i can always hear blairing their music. The rent goes up every year, which is ridiculous for what you get. It says a pool and volleyball court, but the pool is right in front of the office building and no one ever plays volleyball because the sand is infested with fleas, its not bad but i cant wait to move.

I disagree with all these reviews. The one thing I dont get is if you have ever had any problems with the law, including juvenile, they will not rent to you; which is the dumbest ---- I've ever heard of. The apartments look run down it and reminds me of a goverment lease housing. They have a slow staff that takes months to process your application and when you don't qualify for the apartment they don't even call to notify you. (Probably hoping you forget about the -------- $200 security deposit) The only positive thing about this apartment complex is it's close to SLU.

Anonymous #1,
Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review and recommending us to others! I am so sorry you had an issue with noise. I wish you would have stop by the leasing office to let us know. We could have helped! In the future, please do not hesitate to let someone know about any questions or concerns that you may have. I love the pool and volleyball court, even though I??m not really an outdoor kind of girl. The pool??s location near the office allows our residents access to the leasing office bathroom, free water, and free cookies! They are also near the vending machines. The volley ball court did have an issue with ??sand fleas??. Once our residents let us know about it, we had our pest control company treat it and we are good to go! I don??t know where we would be without our residents! Your final concern was rent increases. I know price increases for anything is always hard to deal with and are sometimes inconvenient. Our rentals rates are an immediate reflection of the Hammond housing market. Meaning, sometimes they go up a little bit and sometimes they go down a little bit. For the past few years, our renewing residents had their rental rates stay the same! I wish we could have talked about this when you were here. Thanks again for your kind words!
Anonymous #2,
I am very sorry you were displeased with our rental policies, other reviews, and our apartments. If you are able to or would like to, please contact me through this website or by calling us so we may discuss your specific situation. Unfortunately, without knowing your name, I can only speak in generalities. Like, we rent to anyone who qualifies. Everyone is held to the same application process and standards. Traditionally, it takes 4 to 7 business days to complete the qualification process. If we are waiting on the resident to turn in further paperwork, which will certainly slow the process down. Once an applicant is either approved or declined, we contact all parties as soon as possible. If an applicant is declined, their security deposit is refunded. There is a system of checks and balances in place to ensure that security deposits are refunded as necessary. Thank you for your nice comment about location, that is one of our great selling points! We try our very best to not only meet our resident??s expectations of an apartment community, but to surpass those expectations. Again, I apologize that we were unable to ??wow?? you at Lion??s Way.
