My apartment was supposed to be available on the 1st. A couple "showed up" and put down a deposit hours before we did, so they got that 3 bedroom. Anther apartment would be available by the 7th, I was told. On the 7th I was told that they could not put down new carpet and tile until the 11th. And it would be ready by the 12th. I called today the 13th and carpet and tile are finished but the painter has not visited yet. He will visit tomorrow and the "make ready" guy will be around on Monday (the 17th). I work for a bank and am not able to just take time off. This is VERY frustrating!!! Also I have to transfer my daughter to another school and schedule furniture to be delivered!!! I am SERIOUSLY tinking about letting them KEEP my deposit and leave them alone! My current landlord's have been great through out the process!! They have let me pay week by week basically and are OK with me pushing the date back!! If I did not need more room, I would stay where I am!!! uWDgQKY3Vkv8FKIsB8Ax
