I lived at Levee Run during the 80s, and again during the 90s. My first stay was wonderful. Many of ther tenants were employed at a nearby hospital where I also worked, and were friendly and clean. I hated to leave, but due to my job loss, I could no longer afford to pay the rent. Still, I vowed to eventually return.

I moved back in ther 90s, and didn't realize how much the complex had taken a turn for the worse until after I signed my lease and moved in. It seemed that most of the tenants there were trashy, welfare types, who obviously didn't care about their surroundings. Every holiday, there were loud parties going on in the courtyard. On summer days, I could never use the pool, as it way always filled with about a dozen dirty, unsupervised kids. On occasion, I had to call the police, late at night, after getting tired of hearing thug types arguing in the courtyard.

I really hate to write these comments, because this could once again be such an enjoyable place to live, and if it were cleaned up, I would gladly move back. I hate to blame the management for these problems, because they were very nice to me, but constantly overloaded from trying to keep this complex a nice place to live. But they are still partly at fault, since their standards seemed to have dropped to a low point, as far as recruiting new tenants.

Please do whatever it takes to find better clients, and you'll get one of your best tenants (me) back. I will gladly pay more rent in order to have respectable neighbors. I am looking forward to the day when I can again make only positive comments about Levee Run.
