I lived at the Lakes of Chateau South from 2001 - 2003. I absolutely loved my apartment and neighbors for the first year. Then, the quality of residents started to dramatically decline, at least in my building and the surrounding ones. My neighbors would constantly yell and scream. Management was not helpful in resolving this issue or the one involving the resident operating a used car lot out of the parking lot.
I should note that I always felt safe in my apartment. Kenner Police dept is the best around. Ultimately, though, the lack of management concern/action about residents concerns and the steady decline in quality of residents caused me to move. I could no longer justify the rent vs. quality.
