After living here for a year with my wife, its the worst decision we've ever made. Staff are friendly when you view the property but once the papers are signed they become complete jerks who show little concern for any complaints or problems you bring to their attention. The same pieces of trash that were in the lake when we viewed the property are still there a year later. I complained numerous times regarding occupants parking in the handicap and even completely blocking the walkway with large vehicles. Management showed no concern over the gross safety violation of not being able to exit the building due to a large truck frequently blocking the walkway. The tennants below us had about 5 children and what seemed to be 3 or 4 adults living in a 1-bedroom apt. The children would run up and down the steps screaming loudly everyday. On many occasions I saw the children trying to harm the ducks that live in the lake. The parents of these kids slammed doors constantly at ALL hours of the night and had guests come and go frequently, leaving their car steros on full blast while they went inside for 10-15 minutes and then left again. It is my belief that drugs were being sold out of this apartment. Managemnt did nothing whn I brought this to their attention. The pools were rarely clean. When we were able to go the pool it was filled with 20 loud and misbehaved Hispanic children and parents who didnt speak any English. The limit is 2 guests per unit at the pool, but everyweekend it seemed that --------- would invite eveyone they knew over and they would take over the pool area. Again, managent did nothing to resolve this or even enforce their own rules. The "security" gates are usally broken and stay in the open position. When they do work, there is usually 1 - 2 car loads of "questionable" looking people waiting for someone to open the gate so they can go in behind them. Not a safe feeling at all, especially when you get memos on your door from managemnt telling you people are vandalizing property in the complex. I had my car broken into so I had to put a trash bag on my window. It was on there for less than 24 hours before I had a nasty note from managent telling me they would tow my car tomorrow if I didnt do something about this. Managent caters to the few no name Saints players that live there and could care less about the rest of the tennants. And FYI, NOBODY that lives there picks up their dog poop, so be prepared to step in dog mess on a regular basis. Save your money and look elsewhere, this place is an overpriced ghetto with the tennants to match. DO NOT RENT HERE!

are you white??? it seems to me that you are racist. I am a hispanic and for one, me and my husband are very respectable people. You are trying to put down the hispanic orgin and I am nothing like what you are describing in your report.

To the person who wrote a response of my review, Before you become a self-righteous martyr for the "racial" argument, consider the facts. 1.) I was a paying tenant with rights to use of the pool facilities when they were open. The posted rules at the pool clearly state that no more than 2 guests per tenant are allowed at the pool. The incident I mentioned was a (out of control) children's party, a gross violation of the rules and my ability to use the facilities I am paying for every month. 2.) None of the adults supervising the kids spoke english. I politely tried to approach several of them to ask if they could control the kids and ask who they were guests of to let them know they are breaking the rules. This is a problem not because of their race or nationality, but because of their inability to communicate with when they are in the wrong. 3.) I don't know you and your husband. I never accused you of anything. Obviously you were not the people at the pool. Obviously you speak english because you pieced together the 2nd grade grammar and punctuation level response. Yet you make an ignorantly sweeping assumption regarding my race and further more accuse me of being a racist. Please show me where I said anything derogatory to anyone of any race. The facts are the children were misbehaved and the adults couldn't understand a word I said. I won't make the same ignorant assumption and label anyone a racist as you have been so quick to do. Rather, I'll assume that your reading comprehension is subpar, your need to jump on the racial bandwagon is impulsive and that you don't understand that this site is for the review of properties, not for you to become an uninformed spokesperson for Latinos. Get a life and a clue about what racism really is at its most basic level. Ignorance. Your response is exhibit A.
