My husband is in the military so we had to rent an apartment site unseen. We were a little worried of course because we decided to live here without seeing it first. Scary! But we have been very pleased so far. We moved from a 3000 sq foot house with a yard into a 1-bedroom apt. We love it! We love having so little responsibility. We may never buy a house again! lol We enjoy taking our dog for a walk around the lake and we have not noticed any smell or problems with the lakes like mentioned in other reviews. I am badly allergic to bugs (I was covered with them in Mexico on several vacations) and I have not gotten a single bug bite while living here. The grounds are kept nice (of course they can't do much about the ducks pooping on the sidewalks!) and I feel safe here. We love seeing how much wildlife we spot in the lakes on our walks--otters, ducks, turtles, fish, etc. I love the amount of parking we have and the attached garage. As a nurse, I love that there are several hospitals right around the corner. And you have to like how close the walmart is!! My husband's commute to work is now only about 20-25 minutes. What can I say...a nice place to live and we are getting spoiled having someone else fix our small problems. Oh, and I love the pools because they are hardly ever occupied and I can have privacy and relaxation. Yes it is a little difficult to pay this amt for rent plus a mortgage but that was our choice.
