Good and bad!

It has its good and bads like everywhere else. The apartment I have is over 1200 sq feet with 2bd, 2ba. cathedral ceilings, fireplace, balcony, washer and dryer, all kitchen appliances with garbage disposal, carpet and tile for only 900 a month so it is superb living area for one adult and one child. I would not try to fit anymore in here.LOL!
There have been several fires and two rapes that took place right after the storm when many apartments were vacant. It seems as though the men did not live here but had used a vacant apartment to do the act.
It is not well lit near the mail boxes which is the one place it should be lit at night.
There are so many stupid rules like no bbq pits outside....must take all decorations down in a certain time frame, no pictures in the windows to hide the damn light.
My electric bill is over 350$ a month in summer months because of the way the vents are placed in the living areas and the high ceilings and skylights! It is a nice design but not very practical with only TWO vents in the whole area! The bedrooms are always freezing so if you want to stay cool, stay in bed!
They made the dumb decision to put trees and MUD between the parking lot and the stair case so you track all the debris in the apt which has light carpet...and gets all over your car! It is like some kind of sticky sap that DOES NOT COME OFF! I am sure this is just a way for them to keep the deposit when they were the ones who planted the stupid trees! Ever hear of hard wood floors people!!!
If I was not stuck here, I would have moved after the first year with all the crap going on! I must say that compared to other apartments for the same price or cheaper, they are top notch with the apartment I chose! Right now, anything you can find for around 900 is ghetto as hell and is a one bedroom!
