The walls here are so incredibly thin that it's ridiculous. I can hear every move my neighbors make, people walking on the stairs all the time, and even when my neighbor is just having a normal conversation on the phone! I wake up in the middle of the night the majority of the time due to his movements next door. Also, the washer and dryer are so noisy, and the appliances are so old and outdated.

I'm not crazy about Tonti management. When I moved in and gave them the list of things that were not working at the apartment, they didn't fix a lot of the problems, even after I told them several times. They didn't seem to care that all those things were wrong with the apartment. Finally, I had to write them a letter saying I was very disappointed that those things were still not fixed, and that I had complained about them several times. That was finally when they decided to take care of it. There is only one lady in the front office who seems concerned about your maintenance problems, and the others don't even seem to care to have anything fixed.

If safety is your only concern, Woodlake seems like a pretty safe area to me, and this was the main reason I had picked it. I've only been here for 3 months, but I've had no problems with safety or weird people walking around here. But, if you find a safe place to live that's more expensive, pick that one even because it'll be worth it getting your sleep at night.
