I'm not gonna lie to you, It's a great place cause it doesn't flood in this area. Lots of parking spaces and you do get a washing machine and dryer, it's not a gated community, and no ammenities, just a swimming pool, but ridiculous pet fee.
Pet fee is $400 NON-refundable, but I don't understand because people that lived here before had pets and nobody even had to tell me cause it smells like animal urine on the carpet, and you would think that with a 400 dollar fee they would clean the carpet thoroughly. So even if you're not thinking about having a pet in the apartment, it's still gonna smell like there's a pet living with you, I smell it when I watch tv and when I lay in bed.
I also think the deposit is too high, $600. Plus you HAVE to pay $150 dollars for a cleaning fee when you turn in your deposit. And even if your apartment is clean, you still don't get that $150 back. And you MIGHT get your full deposit depending on how clean your apartment is. You also have to pay what is called WET fee every month for water, exterminator, and trash.
No matter what other people say about the noise, the walls are paper thin, SERIOUSLY. You can hear people going up and down the stairs, and if you can get the third floor, get it because 1st or 2nd, you hear footsteps above you, when they flush their toilets, when they close their cabinet doors in the kitchen, or when they drop something on the floor, you can also hear conversations and laughing, this is probably irrevelant, but sometimes if your near the right vent you can tell that someone just finished using the bathroom. A few nights while I was laying in bed, I heard the man living above me snoring in his sleep, it's that bad. For now, those are the only things I could really think of. Oh and if you have a grill, get rid of it, they don't allow grills in the patio. So we left ours at a friends house. If i could've chosen the place, it wouldn't have been this one, I feel like this place scams people with all the fees but we didn't have enough time to look anywhere else. My fiance' and I are just waiting for orders from the Coast Guard to leave for Savannah, and this time I'm choosing. Hope this helped you in choosing a place.
