I lived in Acadian House (until just recently) for over four years. The first three were not at all bad. The last, however, was a nightmare. After Hurricane Lily hit, a repair/remodeling crew was brought in and pretty much took over the complex. I was subjected to loud noise, being kicked out of my place at 7:30 in the morning so they could work on my ceiling (which was nothing but black garbage bags for months), having all of my things thrown everywhere so they could paint my place, etc..and all of this with just a bit knocked off of rent each month. They should have paid me to live there. Other than all of that and maintenance fixing things in the fastest and not most attractive way possible, I cannot say anything else bad about it. The price is a bit steep now and tends to go up regularly but the location is close to everything, is safe, and usually quiet. Management, although I have had issues with in the past (during the repairs and such) trys to be helpful and usually is fairly.
