I just want to say that I can't believe some of theses reviews. I lived at Bayou Oaks from 1997 until 2003. I just recently moved out because I got married and my husband and I bought a home. I was always very comfortable there and as far as the staff, they are great. When I first moved to Lafayette and Bayou Oaks, I didn't know anyone and the girls in the office always made me feel welcome. They were also very helpful as far as suggesting different places to go for fun/dinner and giving me directions. I would have been so aggrivated w/ myself as many times as I asked those girls for the same directions, but they have always been very sweet, especially Beverly. You other people who are "so unhappy" need to get a grip.
