I rented at Bayou Oaks for almost 2 years, paying rent in full every month. I gave more than the required notification of moving. I left the apartment in immaculate condition. I waited over 3 months before finally getting my security deposit refunded, only to find they deducted money stating I had an unpaid balance, which was due to their poor accounting skills. They posted a balance due, but could not state what the balance was for. They had posted an amount due on rent that was not the correct monthly rent and on top of all, they had posted a charge for water! ( Cold water is included in the rent.) Oh yes, I only received my security deposit after 3 months and numerous phone calls promising to return it, when I promised that I would file a complaint with the La. State Attorney General's Office. Unbelievable!

Everyone makes mistakes! I think you should call the LA. State Attorney General's office so they can see how smart you are. I have never had a problem, probably because I never broke rules and always paid my bills on time. Would be fun to critic your job.
