Look at the comments to other posts. Bayou Oaks staff -- bbb1999 -- reviewed this site by posting a FAKE review in August 2006, then IDENTIFIED themselves as STAFF by REPLYING to another review here on AUGUST 25, 2006!!! THEN they poasted to another HONEST TENANT's review on the SAME DAY and called the tenant an "idiot." Real professional, you Bayou ---------------------- This is what you'll get when you move in here -- inept, cretinous staff, ugly, paper-thin-walled apartment, and the finest Lafayette has to offer in trailer trash accomodations. Avoid at ALL COSTS!!!

Do you seriously not have anything better to do with your time, but to get online and determine who is posting what??? I worked and lived at Bayou Oaks for over two years. Remember guys, it IS an apartment. You probably WILL hear through your walls sometimes. Honestly, they were built over 20 years ago... Seems to me that we have a disgruntled resident, who didn't get their way (or probably left his/her apartment looking like crap when they left, and didn't get a refund on their deposit). As for --------(the manager)....She has been with the company for over 15 years, so apparently, she's doing something right.

Bayou Oaks staff consists of some of the most rude and snobby women I have ever met. Every time I called or went into the office they did not want to help me and were not kind of welcoming. There was no excuse for the way I was treated while living there. Also the place is disgusting and needs an upgrade. cabinets are gross and I'm pretty sure theres mold in the walls. My roomate was so sick she had to move back home before the lease was up. Also there are very shady and suspicious people who live there. I felt unsafe coming home after dark. I would never live there again and I would never reccomend it to anyone I know.
