Unethical property owner

I moved here almost 3 years ago. I have to move out now b/c the owner of the complex refuses to fix the roof, which was torn off by hurricane Lili. Instead of telling us (the tenants) that the roof will not be fixed, we found out the hard way. When we had that terrible storm Oct. 28-29, it rained instead EVERYONES apartment. Funiture, belongings, everything destroyed. We then found out that the building was being condemned. The owner refused to even put a temporary roof (the blue plastic you see around the other apartment complexes) until we had time to find somewhere else to stay. There wasn't any extra apartments for us to move into either. We were all let out of our lease, but this is truly unethical. But what goes around shall come around. But the staff here was really nice. It wasn't their fault, but the owner of Cagan makes them look bad and unprofessional. gkZ41df9CgXQPfm8K2A7
