I was fortunate enough to move in with a roommate for only 3 weeks before he had to go on deployment. So I was without a roommate for 13 months. But when August came around and they moved some knuckle head freshman into my unit all hell broke loose. The guy was cool but he loved to get party and stay drunk (describes about 80% of UC residents)... But I am a kosher and a neat person. Making a long story short...

The dingdongs that work in the office (also having sex w/ the manager) weren??t very helpful. They were also party animals so I sounded like the nuisance. Finally one day I just packed my things and bought my key to the office. Of course it took the dummy 20 minutes to figure out I was giving her the key because I was moving OUT.

Other then that the only issues I had were the thin walls because I could hear EVERYTHING... from people having sex (which is VERY common on Thursdays), playing loud music and that damn volley/basketball area.

I lived in the 300's building and never understood why people played Basketball at 3am... but the maintainance guys were cool (but VERY lazy lol).. they came to my unit one day to replace blinds and we ended up playing PS2 games for almost 3 hours
