It is a very nice community, and the people are nice. I have lived here for two years.
Pros: Nice look, garage, stairs, lake, pool, tennis courts, gated, easy access to mall, eateries, gas, shopping, interstates, etc. all within three miles
Cons: Too expensive, poor maintenance work, not enough guest parking space

I disagree. The maintenance staff here is one of the best in Lafayette. When there is a problem, it is taken care of on the same day. As far as for parking, if residents each had the permitted 2 cars per family and used their garage for parking and not storage, there would never be any parking issues. The price is right for all amenities that are included, especially have an attached private garage that you ARE NOT CHARGED EXTRA FOR. I've been here 3 years and would live no where else. To the Chateau des Lions Manager and her staff, keep up the good work!
