It's a great place to move in

I come from several apartments and houses experiences and I do like Diamond Lakes compound. I had a choice to move out a very large house that had become a nighmare for keeping it clean and in order so when the chance presented I made a choice to move in a dog friendly apartment complex [actually Diamond Lakes is the only one in all Acadiana area - former French speaking area - that accepts dogs beyond 30 lbs... my one is 62 lbs so I was enticed to apply for an apartment at the complex].
The management team is young, no doubt about it, but all of them are nice, serviceable, helping and understandable of tenents' problems. So far so very good!
I have new carpets, new appliances, fresh painted walls...in a word a pristine apartment, plus a front yard, that came with the rental, where I was able to host all of my flowers, herbts, fruit bushes anf my patio table and chairs; it looks a little bit too crowdy but it workes fine to me. What more'
In ten days that I have been leaving here I can witness friendly neighbours, most of them with larger dogs than mine, a lot of green (trees, bushes, flowers etc.), two small lakes with a lot of fish, ducks and frogs (the frogs make unbelievable concerts in the night!), two swimming pools, fitness room, business romm, tennis field..... it won't be all brand new but surely is nicely liveable!...depending on each one of us attitude to relate to neighbours and to adapt to the environment....
Humidity and insects are not a specialty of Diamond Lakes. They both come with living in the area, both if you live in a brand new compound or house or in an old place. Love bugs, June bugs etc.... are everywhere...there is a swamp at few miles from here so no concern about it....or you get acquainted to live in this kind of environment or you got to move elesewhere... hundreds of miles far North from South Louisiana.
I would suggest the apartment complex to anybody, dog owners or not and surely I will disclose my disconcert if everything won't work in the future SROlYjGrgm2VnM-SactV
