My family and I moved in 09/06. From the end of 01/07 until we moved in 09/07 we lived with MICE! Notifications to the front office were always "somehow" deleted from their computer. Frustrated we searched to find the mgmt co (BGK Properties-The Landing Apts. Operating Associates) since the front office refused to provide their info. After we contacted the main office in New Mexico (330 Garfield St Santa Fe 87501) maintenance entered our apt. without permission and removed a mouse that was under the sink, and in the water heater closet along with the traps and told the mgmt co we didn't have mice and of course the main office believed them and disregarded our pictures! We wound up living w/ family from 06/07-09/07 because the apartment was so infested. When I asked Marcus their maintenance supervisor to seal a 6 inch gap on two walls in the water heater closet that the mice were using to enter he refused siting the job was too big since he would have to move the water heater.
While with family the maintenance entered again without permission, turned on our AC unit and left it on...we didn't know until weeks later when we came home. On another occasion they entered while we were home, opened our door, then left, very scary! Screens had holes so random bugs could crawl/fly in and were never replaced. The French doors had gaps at the bottom so random things could crawl though, and Marcus said, "they don't sell the rubber to seal it anymore". Our dishwasher leaked, instead of repairing the leak Marcus broke the door (while in the apt. without permission) then ordered a new one. The subfloors were so old and weak we had so watch how we walked in the hall and parts of the bedroom....It looks pretty but don't be fooled.

First let me say the internet is wonderful! I am currently having a dispute with this property and they were refusing to give me the corporate information. Thank you for providing me with this information. I did not have mice although my boyfriend told me he heard them in the walls (I was mortified) but I would not recommend this apartment community, its old and needs a lot of work. I paid over 700 for a 2 bedroom 1 bath and I had all kinds of issues (too many to name here) and they are crooks. I lived 9 weeks in my unit as I travel 90% of the time and I received a bill for over 3,000 for charges that I have had to threaten to hire an Attorney. I have 10 years of rental history and have high end furniture and keep my apartment spotless as I am the only person who maintained this unit and they are just insane. I had a clause in the contract saying I could terminate the remainder time left on the lease on a corporate transfer. I had 2 months left on my contract and my boss wanted me to relocate to the east coast and I received a chargeback bill for over 3,000 on all kinds of charges. They are crooks!
