Not the cheapest, but in a good area.

Close access to middle school or high school. Good access to many major roads in Lafayette, so its easy to avoid the congested roads by taking a different route.
Certain buildings have parking problems if you try to find a parking spot after 8-9pm. Be prepared to park near another building and walk a ways.
Low number of rowdy college students compared to other apts closer to campus.
