Rent has increased since I've been here. I've been here two years, and it has gone up about $100 in those two years. They are right that no upgrades are done.

Preventative maintenance is wonderful. They change the air condition filters multiple times a year and spray for pests multiple times per year. They even paint the banisters/handrails about twice a year. They check fire extinguishers about once a year.

The staff is very friendly, courteous, and helpful.

To respond to a few of the other opinions:
I have never heard of any type of break-in here, auto or otherwise. I have also never felt insecure here.
There is a lot of privacy here. I hardly see my neighbors. You share a balcony with ONE other apartment. I've had two different tenants live in the apartment next to me, and never had a problem with things being left on the balcony or anything.

The apartment is conveniently located. The apartment complex and neighborhood are very quiet. I love this place. I wish I wasn't leaving the city. If I ever return and need to rent, I would choose Maison Bocage again.
