Not worth the price

Having lived here for 3 yrs, I've come to realize that Peppertree is just not worth the money. The serious amount of unresolved maintanence problems (the wood under the sink has been rotted out for over 2 yrs and 4 different maintenance personnel and 3 managers). Another co-worker of mine lived here as well, after 2 weeks of no hot water in his apartment and being told that it was normal he finally decided that boiling water to bath his kids was to much. The staff is very friendly but they really do pick and choose what rules they wish to enforce and when they want to enforce them with no consistency. Parking can be a major problem if you have more then one vehicle, not to mention the lovely trees that share the parking lot while looking pretty, put lots of pollen on your vehicle, branches falling on them, etc. The exterior is beautiful, the appliances are from 1983. The rebar can be felt through the carpet, the cabinets are dropping from the ceiling (maintanence solution' cover the gap with caulking!). All in all, these might have been great apartments 15 yrs ago and it may be in a decent location, but I've still gone outside at 7am to see chickens running around, rats on my patio, raccoons on the stairs, peoples towels hanging from the balcony all for the low low price of 800 a month. If could have moved sooner I would have 2 1/2 yrs ago.
