We have been in our apartment for about 9 months now. The minute we signed the lease things went down hill from there!The "model" apartment is NOTHING like you will be getting. In our apartment they had to change our dryer within the first two weeks of us living here because it would not dry anything!. They have the carpet "steamed cleaned" before you move in but it only take a week for all the old stains to come right back up. The carpet is old, stained, and shabby looking. They also say that they put a "fresh" coat of paint before you move in. Yeah right they go an touch up spot which is VERY noticeable! There is no lighting in the living room besides on little light in the ceiling above the fire place. In the summer the a/c doesnt go below 85 degrees, they say its because we are on the top floor, and thats pretty much all they did about that.The bath tubs and sinks in the bathroom look like they hav been here since the 80's. they are all stained, cracked, and chipped.When your taking a shower the hot water cuts in and out it never stays the same temp. for you to take a 3 minute shower. The wooden beams that hold up the balconies and stuff are all rotting on almost every beam you look at.The maintence men take for ever to come fix things . They say there busy, but you will see them just sitting in the gulf carts doing NOTHING. The ladies in the office are horrible. They are rude as can be and not helpful in anyway. Recently the apartments are under new management so they are "fixing" things up. HAHAHA dont be fooled. They have went around and silled all the cracks in the cement with white filler so now it looks more tacky then ever! Then they started the parking lots which is a mess, its all peeling up already and its only been done for 2 days!Instead of trying to fix the parking lot they should try to come up with more parking spaces. I hope you dont mind having to park a half of mile away from your apartment! The rent is also very very high once your lease is up and you dont get the "move in" special. We are paying $1,045 for a 2br 2 ba DUMP! I would not recommend anyone living here, not even my worst enemy!
