Would not rent again

Let me start off by saying, if you just need a temporary place, this complex probably would not be a bad choice.

I would not recommend anyone make this a first or long term choice. I have many of the gripes said by the anonymous on 6/28/07. The prices are competitive with some of the higher end complexes in town, but are simply too big for their britches. The complex is definately not worth the cost they ask, which--have absolutely no misunderstandings about this--WILL jump up enormously on every lease renewal.

I have filled about five work orders while there. It took five months to fix a dish washer. It took nine to fix blinds that were busted from when I moved in, but that didn't stop the office from telling me how they're needed to keep with the 'feel of the community.' The garbage disposal was successfully replaced the first note, but I was left to clean the dust and wood pieces from the mess (as well as clean the entire apartment when I moved in). Five tickets and eleven months later, the windows still have no locks, the sliding doors are still secured only by my snapped-in-half shower bars, and light fixtures are still nonfunctional.

I'm a good natured guy and real slow to anger. Very little bothers me, but when I received a note telling me my place will shoot up $100 to $300 a month (depending how many months I resign back up with them), I was livid.

I'll post again to see what drama comes from my clean apartment when I move shortly. Wonder how much all these still-currently-unresolved issues will cost my deposit.

In a nutshell: Expect to not sign more than once lease. Bring your own cleaning supplies for when you move in. Don't expect fast fixes. Good temporary place.
