Years at this apartment: 2005 - 2007
I've been living here almost two years. Here's my opinion:
Advantages:
Location (close to everything in Lafayette but not in the noisy middle of it)
Quiet and generally safe (no loud noise problems)
Maintenance staff comes quickly when there's a problem
Cozy atmosphere
Well-kept grounds
Disadvantages:
Somewhat outdated (especially appliances and bathroom stuff)
WAY to expensive for what you get (and they LOVE to jack up the rent)
Several maintenance problems (mostly refrigerator and toilet)
Office staff is pretty snobby (they'll take your complaint, but you can tell they think you are dumb)
In general, I like living here and have no serious complaints, but there are some things they could do better. If they are going to charge more for rent, then I'd like to see them at least do some upgrades to the apartments so you're getting more for your money. And the rent is just ridiculous....it's a decent place to live, but they seriously overcharge. I'll probably stay here another 6 months or year before moving up to something nicer. odusyNYCcZ7yL3Bj5JtG
