The apartment management is so crooked its unbelievable. They will quote you a rate on the phone and then once you commit to move the rate is different. But worse than that - they have tons of tricks up their sleeve to collect money from you. Upon renewal, they will quote you one rate, present another in the lease renewal. If you DO complain, it will then take them several months to generate the proper paperwork. Your lease doesn't start until the paperwork starts!!! So even if you stay the period you intended - you either have to stay the additional months or pay the breakage fee which is three times the monthly rent to leave.

Oh yes, the walls are thin, the apartments noisy, security inadequate - and all kinds of miscellaneous charges to go with your rent.

to respond to this email-yes, if the lease is broken then there will be charges just like any other place that you rent-its not about being crooked its about full filling ones lease obligation.
