First I will say that I agree with most of what has been posted before.

I enjoyed living here when I moved in around 2004. (2 bed/1 bath) $675 It is a nice size but apartment is definitely not worth the price. Things are getting worse and the price keeps rising. I can do better which I am attempting to do, hopefully, by the end of this current 6 month lease.

I chose to live on the 3rd floor to avoid noisy people above me. Unfortunately, it didn't alleviate the problems below and around me. Too many ignorant and stupid people for my tastes. A lot of foreigners have moved in. No I am not being racist with this just pointing out the obvious. They do not know the rules of the road or just don't care...take your pick. They like to hang out in the street and gather in large numbers of about 50 in the middle of the parking lot late at night. Hasn't been a problem recently but probably will again. They won't get out of the road when you drive near them, and I mean walking in the MIDDLE of the street when there is a perfectly good sidewalk next to it. Most of the neighbors are noisy. On occasion a few have complied with my requests to turn down TVs and the yelling. I shouldn't have to ask period. I am sick of the lack of common sense with people today.

if you want a pet you have to pay fee equal to one months rent. (Me=$675) totally outrageous. Most apartments I checked charge no more than $300 flat rate.

Parking is atrocious. They refuse to repaint the lines in the parking lots. Because of this people are double parking. (Parking is better than when I first moved in but still a major problem) Several people have been parking in the lot and staying overnight at friends numerous occasions. When I get home from work around 5-7 AM I have to park in the boondocks because these retards refuse to live at their own @$%# place. Some of them leave before the 8 AM cut off mark so they don't get in trouble.

Management is fairly good about booting cars and towing.
Lighting in the apartment is horrendous. They have 60 watt light fixtures on the walls. There IS NO light in the living room. There might have been at one point which is evident by the "phantom" light switch at the front door. Go ahead flip it. It doesn't do anything! Not a good place if you are an artist like me. Have to hook up SEVERAL light sources and still not have adequate lighting as well as boosting your electric bill by the power sucking bulbs.

The roof is poorly constructed. Management can't get any company that is willing to work on it because it requires too much work. The walls and ceilings are cracking. I had several leakage problems from heavy rains because the water doesn't drain off the roof properly.

Maintenance is typically quick to respond, though its been slower since the main guy left and was replaced. Still waiting on several maintenance issues from several months back and at this point don't care anymore. When we moved in we were told that if any maintenance/ exterminators/etc. occurred while we were away we were told that a note would be left on our door. This has yet to happen. Most of the time we don't have a clue that anyone has been in our apartment. I don't know about any of you but I am paranoid about that and want to keep track of that sort of thing. AC runs but doesn't work properly. Apartment stays hot even with multiple fans running to further the air flow. Vent shafts not made properly for proper circulation. Most of the air is funneled into the living room and the smaller room in back even if all unnecessary vents are closed off.

Management is nice and helpful most of the time. MY MAIN PROBLEM WITH MANAGEMENT: Checks may not get cashed till 1st of following month, and usually no earlier than the 20th. This is the reason for several NSF checks being reported. They never cash check the first week or even in the second week. One time they didn't cash it until the next month AFTER we payed them the next months rent. THAT IS POOR BUSINESS!

CABLE TV: We were originally paying for it at one point. we decided to cancel it because we didn't watch it all that much. When we canceled it we still received cable. FREE, you ask' Probably not. Just recently My fiance found out that it was included in our lease package. Does that mean I just paid for cable TWICE''' If so I am severely pissed. We should have been notified of this change. I might have been paying for cable that entire time! As if I really have THAT much money to spend. Sorry I don't drive around in a LOTUS ELISE MR. Owner of the apartment.

The only good thing is that it is the location. Only problem is that when school is in session parking is crazy as well as during MArdi Gras because it is right on the parade routes.

That B***H in the office will steal your deposit when you move, so take pictures.

Cable is not included in rent. The cable company leaves it on 30 days after you disconnect so their service men don't have as much work to do.
