Ive lived in the complex for 3 years now and the price has increased over 150 dollars a monthe since we moved. They have done major renovations since we moved but they have not done a single thing to the apartment i live in nor have they offered to relocate us to one of the new units since the renovation. Currenty in this unit the floors squeek badly the kitchen lights have electrical shorts in them. One does not work at all the other burns out light bulbs in under a month. the bedroom ceilinf fan will most likely fall from the ceiling before we leave in 2 months. The water pressure in the bathroom is so poor that u cannot use the shower and it takes about 40 minutes to put enough water in the bathtub to take a bath. Since we have reported these problems they have attemted to fix the problem the cheapest way possible. I had to have the remove expired Bondo which was filling the apartment with fumes and would not cure. They would not remove it until i called the Bondo corporation who told me they must remove it immediatly due to the dangers to my son. Also they mainenance on the property is very poor the men employed (there are 2 very good mainenance men but i seldome get the qualified ones) seem like they cannot possible be licensed they seem like people who have no experiance what at all and only need 2 tools for every job Duct Tape and a caulk gun. There are weekly displays of Domestic Disputes in the parking lot usually at the wee hours of the morning and on at least 3 occassions mass vandalism in the parking lot. There is no active Security and Stealing and vandalism will occur if you live here for any extended period of time. Loud Rap and Disturbing Language at loud voulumes is to be expected which is not a problem for some but for those with children is very unacceptable. The trash pickup at the door is nice however the Woman who picks it up is a horrible discuzting piece of work who loudly complains about how she hates doing her job and when time to change filters comes she is extreemly loud and expects you to stop what you are doing (sleeping showering ect.) to let her in instead of simply putting the filter at the door. If your expectations are low and you dont mind a lot of noise and problems this complex isend very bad Lake Charles has very little to offer. However if u arent a single college age partygoer you will most likely be disapointed in the quality of life offered at village green in the same price range Suffolk Manor is much nicer other then it is across the road from government housing projects....

everything in this post is 100% true.....the insect infestation is unhealthy at the very least. the brick wall fell done outside my apartment. There was nothing but dirt behind the bricks due to rot and termites but they erected another wall anyway.
