I currently hold an apartment there. I can say that the management and staff are more than willing to work with the military's schedule, and with deployed soldiers. The apartments are pretty nice, and it's not in a bad neighborhood either. C'mon, we're talking Leesville Louisiana, not the rich side of Baton Rouge. It's relatively close to post, and right off the main drag in town. It's not a bad set up, and is way better than any housing on post, thats a promise.

Better than on post housing? Not North Fort. Glad you're wasting your money at Chaparral.

You must be talking about the barracks, in any case you are truly wasting your money. God forbid you move out before your lease is up, they aren't so kind to help out military then. If you decide you want to see better take a drive south on 171 to Eissman Road and see the townhouses there. A lot more space, you even have a balcony, oh and the real kicker. It costs less too. I bet you're newb to the military so let me give you some advice for your next duty station... Shop around!
