This apt was especially bad for me b/c I had a reoccuring leaking problem. There were several different leaks in the living room and dining room area. Each time one would be fixed, another would start or the old one opened up again. This occured almost the entire lease time. Of course, it started to smell really bad.. of mold and mildew. It was also pretty gross looking with the ceiling and buckets in my apt catching the water all the time. I had to move my furniture and dining set. It was NEVER a home.

when i complained to the staff, I had a lot of issues. They wouldn't have anyone come fix it until 2-3 weeks later. It was pathetic. I asked them to reduce my rent or move me out and they would not. THEY ALSO WOULD NOT LET ME END MY LEASE. Instead, I lived under this mold and mildew for 10 or so months. The odd thing is when there was an inspector, my apt wasn't leaking and all patched up. I just wished a random inspector would have came in my apt and see all the grossiness that was there 90% of the time.

i had to finally write a certified letter to the owner and threaten them. In the end, on month 10 or so, they would allow me to move to a new apartment. of course, then the hurricane happened. when i came back, i was forced to move by inspectors. the mold had gotten worst and there was a sign on my door saying that apt was inhabitable. of course, it was this way BEFORE the hurricane even came through but the inspectors didn't know!!

anyways, it was A HORRIBLE experience b/c living under mold and mildew for almost a whole year is not fun!
