upon moving in.. i noticed that the pools were in need of a lot of attention.. i was told that the pool guys wife was in the hospital..however, months later the pools are still in need of drastic attention. Shadow Ridge boasts that they have 4 pools.. which they do, but at any given time, 'in season', you may find 1 pool clean enough to swim in, if you imediately shower afterwards.
the grounds are usually pretty clean except near the trash dumpster area's.. though evidense of building repairs are quit evident as you walk the grounds. The fire ants and giant roaches in the community do seem to love it here.
Having communicated long distance to set up living accomidations with Shadow Ridge.. I found that my apartment was not quite ready when I arrived with my belongings in a rental truck. I relucktantly moved into an apartment that was dirty and in need of repairs. The smash and grab car burgulars have made a welcomed edition to the anviance.. an Orleans Parrish deputy sheriff had his marked police cruiser broken into so often that he eventually moved.
Recently I had to confine my pet for 3 days to his crate in hopes that maintenance would show up to repair a window from a recent burgulary attempt. Not to mention my aprtment window was totally missing while I waited.
Recently, there was a problem with sewage pipes.. outside my apartment.. raw human waste (poop) and toilet paper were running through the parking area and into the storm drains..5 weeks of looking at, smelling the foul odors, fighting germs and disease as I and my dog both suffered illness from the contaminent.. The management with exception of Ms. H. Adams, are coniving, lying and downriht rude.
