This well-designed studio apt. was clean, quiet, private with plenty of closet space. If you're a student, retired, etc., this small complex with pool & laundry will fit your budget. I chose this apt. also because it's centrally located in Metairie. I have to say it was pretty good but I moved to find a larger apt.

No, I am not, or have ever been, an employee of 1st Lake Properties. During those years, 1991-1997, I wrote truthfully my opinion of my experience there. I do not know how they are since then. I still live in Metairie area, have driven past them, they did major renovations & updating to them pre- and post-Katrina, & there's a security gate now. I believe the apts. behind them have been incorporated into the complex as Boardwalk I and II. Call 1st Lake to verify. Good luck on your apt. search. With internet access to just about every apt. in the area, you can see costs, floor plans, amenities. If you compare the design of this studio unit with others, it is the best. Another studio apt I lived in briefly & also well-designed was another 1st Lake Property named Crossroads.
