The Breakers is definitely the nicest apartment complex on Lake Avenue (new, gated, well-kept, large apartments, etc.) It also is built a little higher up than the other apartments though the first floor still flooded a few feet during Hurricane Katrina.

The management company (1st Lake Properties) isn't the best (very greedy and stingy) but other than that it was a really nice and safe place.

It's overpriced in my opinion as there are plenty of other nice and safe apartments on Lake Avenue.

Again the amenites are great, but it just wasn't worth the price they charge, especially went they raise the rent so much each year.
