As a resident now for over a year, I only left because Hurricane Katrina forced me to look for employment elsewhere. Now that i'm relocated, i find myself looking for apartments that match up to the standards of Camelot - and it's falling short. I miss Carlos the maintenance guy who was super friendly, fixed things super quickly and correctly each time. The rent was an amazing rent, the neighborhood VERY safe (i grew up around there) and the management team - esp. Paula, words just don't say enough.

Those guys are amazing. If you get a place here, you're lucky. The 1 bedroom flats especially are huge - so spacious in fact that almost every person who visited me inquired about my rental rates, stunned by the size. They never minded signing for my packages while I was at work, insulation is pretty good because utilities run low, and if you left your laundry in one of the mats, you might find it folded by someone's acts of random kindness. Plus - only apartment complex i know in the city with it's very OWN BAR (with pool table and dart boards). Gym across the street is open from 5:45 am - 9 pm and great private hospital is less than a block away. Great location, great people, great rates, great space. They really should charge more, but i'm not telling.

I MISS YOU PAULA AND CARLOS!!!
