I lived here for almost a year. The grounds were nice (if you can ignore the NUMEROUS shopping carts strewn about), the staff is routinely less than friendly and does catch attitude about the smallest things. My car was stolen from the parking lot, despite the "gates" (which rarely work), and they didn't even seem that concerned. In fact, when I lost my gate card and went to purchase another, they asked if maybe I lost it in my car...then I reminded them that I didn't have a car b/c it was STOLEN FROM THEIR PARKING LOT! The laundry room is rather far (although they have 2 now), but most of the machines do work. I never had a problem doing laundry if you go on any day other than saturday. I had some problems with the electricity (when they turned it on, they failed to put my apartment number on the bills so they didn't get to me for a few months.) My neighbors upstairs were pretty loud, pretty frequently. The parking absolutely SUCKS! Many nights, returning home from work late there were absolutely NO spots available. Plus, like I said, my car was stolen from their parking lot. The heating/cooling in the small 1 bedrooms isn't very good b/c there is a window unit for the whole place. The insides of the apartments are nicely remodeled with new appliances and i didn't have any problems with pests of any sort. I've lived in several different complexes in the Metairie area and overall, this one was probably the worst.
