Econcomical living in Metairie
From: -Anonymous-Date posted: 6/26/2004
Years at this apartment: 2002 - 2003
When I was an undergrad at Xavier University I spent my sophmore year in Pepertree.
For only 365/month I was able tosave up alotof money and that helped me out in the long run.
The apartment office is very nice and they will help you out with anythingthat you may need.
There were some bad sides to this complex, first is that the walls were very very thin.I could probably hear things from two apartments over if I really wanted to.
I had the pleasure of someone breaking into my car but greatfully they were too stupid to be able to steal the car.
The pool area is very nice and the laundry facilities are fairly priced.
The apartments of course are all studio and are VERY VERY small.
There are some families of three to five that I have seen living in one apartment (all children).
Basically,if you are a college student and want to pay a cheap rent while still being off campus feel free to stay here and better your credit.
If you are sensitive to noise (levels of noise differ from apartment to apartment) and plan to start a family I suggest that yougo somewhere else.
