Mediocre by NOLA standards, a dive by anyone else's

Tenants: friendly enough; not many students/young people
Management: incompetent
Maintenance: practically non-existent. they will try to "repair" fridges and A/Cs instead of replacing them, which leads to 30 year old appliances that don't work more often than they do. Even if something is totally broken, they will tinker with it for a couple days before sacking up and replacing it.
Interior: fairly new and clean; tub does squeak like the other rater pointed out; thin walls
saftey: seems very safe, although the dumpster did just get graffitied

I am thinking about renting here but I am concerned about the AC unit, did you have problems with it cooling your apartment?
