Rent was always a problem at this place. When I first moved there in 2001, I was told that rent would never go up. Then it went up by ten dollars in 2002, I was told that was the last increase. Then it went up by twenty-five dollars in 2003, then by fifty dollars in 2004, and then another forty dollars in 2005. They claimed that the reason for the increase in rent was do to the changes that were made. They put in a new bathroom and stove, and all apartments were equipped with a washer/dryer stackable. But, they never told you that you would no longer have a linen closet. Because, that it would become your washroom. Which there really was not enough space for. I think that was a result of poor planning. Most of the changes were cosmetic. They put up new kitchen cabinet doors while the inside was left rotting. The stove was nice and so was the bathroom. Again, all cosmetic kinda just done as a cover up of things. To make it look good from the outside. The parking was terrible, there was no assigned parking. Plus, if you came in after ten PM you could forget it. Nothing was available. Maintenance was okay, I dont have too many complaints. There were some return visits on the AC and dishwasher. But, they always came out promptly, which was a plus. Office staff was friendly once the current manager (Tati 2003-2005)took the position. The old manager was basically the word for a female dog. Not much noise at all. Grounds were okay, thats when you were not stepping into dog stuff. Its not exactly the worst place to live, but its not the best either. Especially for your money, I would recomend other places.
