I'm not at liberty to say my race, but I will say this no matter what race you are this complex sucks!! Especially if you??re a minority.
I had lived there before hurricane Katrina and had the Unpleasant experience of living in both north and south in 2003.
1st when I Moved in I was quoted one price and before I could even get my furniture settled in they'd went up on the price and tacked on more money and it seemed as if they did this every Month!! Also when I moved in my carpet was really dirty and there were dead roaches and spiders all over the floor.
2nd the Maintence staff are drunken incompetent idiots! They never come to do a job when requested and when they finally get there. They get pissed off because they don't want to do their jobs!
3rd. the management are really biased against "minority residents"
You??ll get a red & white "Notice" Sticker if you watch TV after 6 o clock pm.
4th if something in your apartment breaks they wont come fix it for instance if your dishwasher breaks on Monday it wont get fixed until they feel like it needs to be fixed and if they've got service parts witch they claim they never do. I had a pipe to burst in the wall when I lived there and it messed up my apartment really bad .when the Maintence finally came to fix it they made it worse! All the guy did was spray epoxy paint on top of rotting drywall and a water spot!!
The Gates are always broken and the card keys never work and the parking is horrible!!
If you're considering this as a place to stay Please take it from someone who knows...
Windmill Creek north & south is a terrible place to live!!!!
They also go into your apartment when you're not home and they are not authorised to do so. they feel that if you live there, that they also have the right to invade peoples privacy .
